GOD'S WILL BE DONE

APPEAL TO ALL THOSE WHO BELIEVE AND FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST

Today, Tuesday, 13th November, 2012, at 1500 GMT, Dr.Tonio Borg will appear in front of a Special European Board to be interviewed and judged if he is eligible to be chosen as the European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy.

His choice and subsequent appointment will be a triumph for the Church, for all Catholics, for all Maltese who still treasure the Faith brought to us by St.Paul, in AD 60.

Dr.Tonio Borg is a fervent Catholic, and he is proud of that fact, BUT, that could be the one and only reason for not being chosen to occupy the mentioned post. We should not be amazed, we know and believe Christ’s own words: “You will be persecuted”.

I fervently hope that ‘the powers to be’ have not forgotten their History lessons; that the three pioneers of a United Europe were fervent Catholics; De Valera, Schuman and de Gasperi.

I appeal to all Christians, who regularly follow my postings on the Word of God on the Facebook, to pray … mind you, not for Dr.Tonio’s Choice, but …’that His Will be done’. After all we believe that man’s disappointments are always God’s appointments.
