MARY, MOTHER OF GOD

In one of the many Apparitions of our Blessed Mother Mary, one of the visionaries, once dared to ask :

“Blessed Mother, how is it you are so beautiful?”

Mary did answer, and said:

“Because I love every person in the world, I love everyone without exception.”

We should stop and meditate on these words. Yes, those who love every person, without exception, with unconditional love, are beautiful. Loving everyone means; not just returning love to those who love us,

BUT, more important, it means loving even those who do not love you, those who cause you harm, those who wish you evil, those who declare themselves your sworn enemies….YES, loving these persons needs God’s special grace, because it is un-natural, so we need extra spiritual help.

But once we pray and receive such a grace, our soul will be ‘beautiful’, and beauty of the soul reflects on the character of the person, on the face and on the whole behavior. For that reason we become ‘beautiful’.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, let this be our one and only New Year’s Resolution for 2012: “TO BECOME MORE BEAUTIFUL.”

This resolution is inexpensive, no need to buy creams or lotions, no need of a tan, no need of beauty therapies, no need of dieting, no need of beauticians, no need of hair-styling, no need of saunas. This is inexpensive. The God-given Recipe is freely given by Our Father in Heaven:

“Love each other as I have loved you.”

May we, in due time, all win the ‘Universal Beauty Contest’, and we shall all be crowned as the “Beauty Queens|” and the “Beauty Kings” of the Lord.
